Ikoma Traverse Series Part 1: Mt.Kono to Hoshi no Buranko
We will hold the Ikoma traverse series, which is a great way to improve your mountain level and build up your fitness for the Alps traverse. There is a 40-km traverse route through seven prefectural forests in the Ikoma Mountains from Hirakata City to Kashiwara City. In the first event, the walking distance is about 17 km and the mountain level is 7. There are minor ups and downs, but there are few difficult spots, and you can walk with peace of mind as there are restrooms and vending machines. There are also many places of interest, such as Mt. Kono with its great view and the Hoshi no Buranko. The second and third sessions will be held in November and December. Hikers who participate in all the events and complete all the walks will receive a limited-edition hiker's sticker as a prize for completion!
