Mt.Kannabi Hiking molkky experience

Grading:

Mt. Kannabi means “the place where God hides”. From the observatory located 221m above the summit, a panoramic view of Kyotanabe City can be seen. It is said that when the Heian-kyo capital was established, Daikoku-den Hall, Suzaku-mon Gate, Suzaku-oji Avenue, Rashomon Gate, etc. were built with this mountain as the southern base and a straight line connecting it to Mt.Funaoka in the north as the central axis of the capital. Today, hiking trails have been established and the mountain is beloved by locals. The walking distance is about 9 km, and is suitable for beginners as it is mostly on paved paths. After lunch time, we will experience Molkky, which can be enjoyed even if you have no experience. Molkky is a sport that originated in Finland, has simple rules, and can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages. (https://youtu.be/iOHCltkEgbk?si=WHIQfH6JS_ZeuxQ5) On the way back, stop by Ikkyu-ji Temple, a Zen temple of the Daitokuji School of Rinzai Zen Buddhism, where the monk Ikkyu Wako retired in his later years. The Hojo Garden is a famous scenic spot, with its beautiful combination of green moss and natural stone.
