【Biwaichi Support】Omihachiman Hiking＆La Collina Omihachiman

Grading:

We will hike in Omi Hachiman, a popular sightseeing spot! Walking distance is about 4km, easy hiking + sightseeing course for beginners welcome. After the traverse, we will have lunch at a cafe, if you wish, and give a shout-out to the participants of another event, “Biwaichi Cycling” on the course they will take. From Omi Hachiman Station, take a bus across Hachiman moat to visit Himure Hachiman Shrine. Start hiking from the trailhead by the shrine. Take a group photo from the ruins of Hachiman Castle while enjoying the spectacular view of Lake Biwa, Omi Fuji, and Mt. Hiei. Hachiman traverse trail to the north and end the hike at Momo Shrine. La Collina Omi Hachiman is also nearby, so you can enjoy shopping for the famous baumkuchen!
