Kyoto Trail Hiking Part① Mt.Oiwa - Kiyomizu Temple
Following the Ikoma traverse series, a series of trails around Kyoto will be held. The first course is the Higashiyama course. Starting from Fushimi Momoyama Station, we will enjoy the view from Mt. Oiwa and traverse the World Heritage Site from Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This is a great plan to improve your mountain level and build up your stamina for the Alps traverse. The 84km long course will be divided into several events, so why not complete the walk? The first event will be about 16 km long with a mountain level of 6. It is recommended for beginners as there are many toilets and vending machines, and there are points along the way where you can retire. Hikers who participate and complete the entire Kyoto round-the-trail event will receive a limited-edition hikers' sticker as a prize for completing the trail!
