Main peak of Mt. Ikoma Hiking around the observatory with a great view

We will hike to Mt. Ikoma, the main peak of the Ikoma mountain range. This is a rare mountain with an elevation of 642 meters and its summit is located within the Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park. The walking distance is about 10 km and the elevation difference is 800 m. There are many rest points, toilets and vending machines, so this is a safe and comfortable course. There are many scenic spots with good views, and the pleasant scenery will soothe your tired body! After about 40 minutes from Nukata Station, you will arrive at Hirayama Observatory. You can also see Abeno Harukas in the distance. After a while, you will reach Bokura-no Hiroba, famous for its night view. Take a restroom break and continue over the Kuragari pass, which is famous for its rough road. The panoramic view from the panorama observatory on the ridge road is also breathtaking. Group photo at the summit in Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park. Admission is free. You can either bring your own lunch or eat at the restaurant in the amusement park. The tour will end with a descent to Nukata Station via Mt. Tatara. If you are tired, you can also use the cable to go down the mountain!
