Wazuka Town, one of the main production areas of Uji tea, is famous for its breathtaking tea plantation scenery, such as the *Ishidera Tea Fields* that seem to stretch up to the sky. This area is popular for hiking while enjoying the tea fields that spread across the entire town. Additionally, landmarks like the *Asaka-no-Miya Mausoleum* and the *Yasaka Shrine Sacred Cedar* are well-known power spots. The hiking route is approximately 8 km, and since it follows paved roads, sneakers are sufficient. Why not join us for a leisurely beginner-friendly hike while enjoying the beautiful tea plantation views? After the hike, you’ll participate in a tea soba-making experience at *Wazukaya*. In Wazuka, Japan's leading tea production area, you can handcraft soba noodles infused with the rich aroma of matcha. This hands-on program offers a special moment to immerse yourself in the culture and history of tea. Please arrive on the 10:04 train.
