Beginner-Friendly Alps "Kamikochi & Mt. Norikura" 2-Day Bus Tour

Join us for a 2-day tour to climb Mt. Norikura, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains, reaching its highest peak at 3,026 meters! The trail covers a 6 km round trip with a 300-meter elevation gain, making it a perfect introduction to alpine hiking with breathtaking views. Our bus will take you to Tatamidaira, the highest altitude accessible by bus in Japan at 2,700 meters. You'll stay at a nearby mountain lodge for the night, allowing time to acclimatize before the hike. The view from the summit offers a stunning panorama of the Northern Alps, Central Alps, and Southern Alps, with the emerald-green crater lakes and a beautiful alpine flower garden. The first day will feature a relaxing 4 km walk along the Azusa River in Kamikochi, from Taisho Pond to Kappa Bridge. Enjoy the picturesque scenery that looks like a painting, all while wearing comfortable sneakers. Accommodation will be at "Norikura Hakuunso." Delight in a luxurious dinner featuring Hida beef sukiyaki and unwind in the lodge's bath. After dinner, enjoy the sunset, stargazing, or even an early morning sunrise from Daikoku-dake for those interested. ☆ You can leave unnecessary items at the lodge during the hike.☆ Participants will share the bus with those attending the Kamikochi Tokusawaen event. ☆ Only provided soap can be used in the lodge's bath. Shampoo and other toiletries are not permitted.
