Narakawa Enchi Tsutsuji Garden & Observatory Tour
Mt. Ikoma, located on the border between Osaka and Nara Prefecture, is home to the stunning azaleas of Narakawa Enchi, part of Osaka Fumin no Mori (Osaka Prefectural People's Forest). In spring, around 2,500 Hirado azalea bushes bloom in vibrant shades of red, white, and pink along a winding 500-meter trail, creating a breathtaking sight for hikers. This 9km hiking course features several scenic viewpoints, including the Hiraoka-yama Observatory and Bokura no Hiroba, offering spectacular panoramas of the Osaka Plain. Since the tour ends early, you may also enjoy a relaxing tea break at Hyotan-yama Shopping Street on the way home.
