Enjoy the Unique Rock Ridge Trail and the View of Lake Biwa – Konze Alps Hiking
Konze Alps consist of Mt. Ryuo (605m) and Mt. Torikabuto (491m). Along the ridgeline, there are weathered gigantic rocks and oddly shaped rocks, and especially from the top of Tengu Rock, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Biwa and the southern Omi region. The walking distance is about 7 km. Since Tengu Rock is a round-trip (piston), it is not mandatory to climb it, but for those who wish to, we recommend bringing gloves. On the course, there are not only unique natural rock spots, but also historical sites such as Sakasa Kannon and the Dutch Dam. Although it is a low mountain, why not conquer this local Alps full of various attractions?
