To the 60-meter-high bridge! Abuyama Hiking and Ibakita Dam Park
Japan’s tallest pedestrian suspension bridge offers a new-style activity — the “Bridge Climb.” At 60 meters above the ground, the panoramic view of Osaka city captivates every challenger. Opened in March this year, the “Goda Bridge” at Dam Park Ibakita is Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge at 420 meters. We will hike toward this impressive bridge. The total walking distance is about 4 km, mountain level 2. Along the course, there’s a viewing platform overlooking Osaka and a spot where you can see the full view of the Aigawa Dam. After enjoying lunch at the 280m summit of Mt. Abuyama, we’ll descend to the Dam Park. The main event is, of course, the “Bridge Climb.” Wearing a safety harness, you’ll climb up to the top of the bridge—60 meters high!
