Kannon Iwa, a spectacular view of Mt. Kono Christmas hiking

We will hike Kōnozan, a scenic low mountain located in Osaka! The walking distance is 7 km, about 3 hours, and the mountain level is 2. It’s a short hike that finishes comfortably in the morning. Since it’s Christmas, you might receive a small present at the summit! Please look forward to it. After about one hour from the start, we climb a slightly steep mountain path and reach Kunimi-yama, where the view opens up. After a restroom break at Shirahata Pond, we climb the final set of stairs to reach the summit of Kōnozan. It is a unique mountain with a giant rock called Kannon Rock towering at the top, and from the rock you can see a panoramic view of the Osaka and Kyoto cityscapes. After fully enjoying the scenery, we loop back to Tsuda Station and finish.
