Narukawa Azalea Garden + Bokura no Hiroba Night Hike
After viewing azaleas at their best at Narukawa Park on Mt. Ikoma, we will take a night hike to "Bokura no Hiroba," a superb night view overlooking the Osaka Plain! The walking distance is about 7 km. There are no dangerous spots, but we will be walking in the dark, so please watch your step. Passing through Hiraoka Shrine, we will climb for about 1.5 hours while enjoying the view. At Narukawa Park, white, red, and pink azaleas are in full bloom on both sides of the winding hiking trail. Arrive at "Bokura no Hiroba" before sunset around 6 pm. We wait for the sun to set. The night view of the Osaka Plain spreading across the entire area is breathtaking. Take a picture with a large tree in the background! We will descend the mountain for about an hour, taking care of our footing, and disband at around 8:30 p.m. at Hyotanyama Station. You can rent a headlamp for 500 yen. Cell phones, flashlights, and other lights that block your hands are not allowed.
