From the Kinki region's unexplored "Osugi Valley" to "Odaigahara," one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains

Grading:

Along with Kurobe Gorge, Osugi Valley is one of Japan's three largest canyons. This is one of the best canyon trails in Japan, with emerald green waterfalls and magnificent view. The trail level is 9, and it is an intermediate level trail dotted with rocky sections and chain-linked sections. The first day is about 6 km, and the second day is about 9 km, for a total of 15 km. The highlight is "Shishibuchi," a place with 7 waterfalls and 11 suspension bridges, which is the condensed nature of Osugi Valley. The contrast between the towering rocks and the waterfalls seen from between them is an artwork created by nature. In mid-May, rhododendrons are at their best, soothing the weary body after a steep climb. We will stay at "Momonoki Hut," one of the largest mountain huts in the Kansai region. It is rare for a mountain hut to have a bath (soap and shampoo are not allowed). The specialties are Koshihikari rice produced in Mie Prefecture and cooked in a gas oven. Access to the Osugi Valley is extremely difficult by public transportation. Furthermore, the route to Odaigahara is not accessible by car. Why don't you challenge the unexplored region of the Kinki region with Kansai Hikers' unique chartered bus tour? Fee: 32,000 yen Payment: Cash, paypay Included in the fee: Mountain huts (1 night with 2 meals), lunch box on the 2nd day, bus fare, guide fee, and insurance. Not included: bathing fee, lunch on the first day You can leave your luggage not used for climbing in the bus. Momonoki hut is a shared cabin. You can take a bath, but shampoo is not allowed. You can refill your water. Helmets are recommended because there are many falling rocks in Osugi Valley. We recommend that you bring your own. *If the number of participants does not reach 15 in April, the tour will be cancelled.
